Youth portal „www.jauns.lv” is administrated by Liepajas Youth Centre and is an Alive & Kicking instrument that informs on relevant and up-to-date issues on the local as well as international front. The prognoses for the portal are very positive – every month there are more and more hits numbered.

Youth portal „www.jauns.lv” is trying to attract as much attention as possible to easy and fast available information. The guest of the portal can visit a total of 11 different chapters focusing on education as well as leisure.
Among these chapters the guest will find contemporary news aimed specially for youth, photographs from different cultural activities organized by NGOs, information regarding different calls for proposals from Europe, local government and State institutions, or just pure and simple information on other youth activities in the area and beyond.

Youth portal „www.jauns.lv” is created to reach out to such a wide audience as possible, especially for those who feel Young and Active.
At the same time the portal works as a dialogue between its developers and its guests – promoting interactive announcements such as: personal and subjective texts reflecting on youth environment and information on up-coming courses and seminars. The portal is also a way how to find personalities with the same interest.
